The Flanders Field Museum is located inside the Cloth Hall in the Grote Markt in Ieper (Ypres) Belgium. My Great-Uncle was killed in Belgium in WWI. I recently visited with my dad and aunt on a trip to see where my great grandfather fought (and, amazingly, survived) in the Great War. This is a wonderful and extremely humbling museum in honour of the all the lives lost in WW1 in this part of Belgium (Flanders). It is a must do if you are visiting memorials of WW1 battles involving Canadian soliders. The museum is interactive with various exhibits that use multimedia. Very educational. I have been to the museum twice now. It will only cost 8 euros for adults and about 4 euros for children. If you are with the AA you will get a discount. It cost me 12.50 euros for myself and two children. The museum ok. There is not agreat amount to see with regards to relics from the 1st... more
