Visited the quaint old town whilst we were in Albufeira last week. It is a maze of winding streets and little alleyways packed to the gunnells with stalls, shops, street sellers, touts and people trying to sell their wares. If you do not like being pestered by touts every 3 yards this is not the place for you! Every bar... More

It's a very quaint yet lively little town. We only visited a few times during the day, so we did not experience the night life. But I definitely recommend this as a "must-do". More

This was mine and my mums favourite part of Albufeira, it definitely has something for everyone, the young ones and the old ones even at night time. Some lovely restaurants here and great bars! More

Loved visitng the old town on a recent trip to Portugal. Lots of great resturants, lovely to eat at the beachside resturants. Great little crafts/gift shops. Some very nice art shops. Lots of places selling gelato. Very friendly Portugese. More

Old town lovely plenty of resturants and the local ones are best with traditional fayre.The shops are better than on the strip and there is always something going on.Not great if your not very mobile as many steps and cobbled streets and steep inclines. More

The Old Town was well worth a visit with an array of tourist type shops and many places to eat or stop for a refreshment and watch the world go by. More

We visited the old town twice; once on an evening and once in the day time. In the evening its impossible to get down the street without being harrassed by restaurant/bar staff. They just dont leave you alone ! You cant look at a menu without them trying to force you in. More
