The famous Albufeira Strip runs downwards from the Hotel Montechoro, all the way down to the beach , dissected by the main road to Albufeira. It's full of bars and restaurants of all types , catering mainly for English / Irish tourists, along with some shops and a chemist/pharmacy (Farmacia). If you want to be in a nice bar, taste a good wine or simply a beer then you should try this one. Just for people who wants to escape from the places where eveybody goes. Choose peace! It is open from 9pm to 3 am more

A lot of the restaurants on the strip were lovely, but to be quite honest it is more for those who are looking for a holiday where their main priority is clubs and bars. After our meal one night my boyfriend and i (21 & 19) decided to take a walk down the strip only to be hounded by restaurant... more

The Montechorro strip is amazing :) If you go go to The Gartagee its the best club on that strip :P bar staff ar a laugh and if yu get to know them you will get free drinks :D x more
