This is a small but delightful zoo. Very clean and well laid out. Maybe a bit expensive (€14 adults, €10 kids under 12) but I suppose the upkeep takes a lot of money. The monkey island and the bat colony were my kids highlights. More

This is a small zoo about 20 mins from Lagos by car. It has a large collection of birds, some very large and loud others just for the enthusiast. It has a good collection of monkeys and apes which our 2 year old found fascinating. There are also a few other mammals (cats, hippos), a farm zoo and a tropical... More

Lagos Zoo has a very big display of birds. They have monkeys that swing and its best to go when its not busy. They have ducks roaming around and beautiful peacocks. More

Amazing display of birdlife, and lots of interesting characters in the barnyard. Beautiful peacocks everywhere. No crowds in the off season. Fun and interesting for adults and kids too. More

We thought our 18-year old daughter had grown out of trips to the zoo, but I think it is something you never grow out of! The three of us were charmed as much by the peacocks and chickens which roamed freely, as we were by the dangling fruit bats, meditating lemurs and marauding pelicans (they were after the ducklings/coot chicks).... Made the effort to visit Lagos Zoo as was visiting family in Lagos . It is a bit pricey at 14 euros per adult and the food in the cafe is expensive for what it is , but we all thoroughly enjoyed our visit . I could quite happily sat and watched the Gibbons and Lemurs for hours - they... More

We enjoyed this zoo visit with our friends. The animals look like they are having fun. Their environment is spacious and those who are people friendly are often free to roam amongst the humans. More
