It´s a lovely place to visit, you can see old machinerie the fields of tea wich are unique in europe. The staff is frendly and you can drink a great tea. for me it´s a must see in Azores.

This is the only tea plantations in Europe and the tea is very good. There are two differente houses (Gorreana and Porto Formoso) and in both you can have a small tour who tells you how the tea is made and offer some samples to drink.

One of only 2 tea plantations in Europe producing green and black teas. The free tour of the working factory is interesting enough and by the end of it you almost feel obliged to buy the produce!
