Stunning views of Angra. Nice drive up and back! They have picnic areas and old ruins to explore. The ducks are VERY friendly though! Nice place to spend an afternoon. It is neat how it juts out into the ocean from the island. You can tell it was an old fortress.

Monte Brasil is a extinct submarine vulcano, the biggest of this kind in the Azores. This geological accident forms a peninsula with Terceira Island. The result of this association was the formation of two bays: Angra on the east side and Fanal on the west side.IV os Spain
