Diligência Bar is an authentic fado bar. Like most 'finds' in Portugal, it is down a narrow alley that twists and turns until you see the large brown door and the name of the bar. My favorite place in all of Portugal is Diligencia Bar (Rua Nova, 30). Live traditional music (both fado and portuguese favourites) with guitar and traditional instruments in an atmospheric tavern.
