The Castelo's a big fraud. It's a relatively modern reconstruction of the medieval structure, and there's really not much to see aside from the views. I was really disappointed with the castle. I noticed on the way up that the guidebook refers to the castle as medieval, only "medieval" is in quotes. That's right, it's reconstructed "medieval."
