its a sleeping chamber for famous portuguese past persons, like Amalia and others, it imitates the same that there are in Paris and Rome. A bit simpler.The view is worth.

The building is very impressive, but the main thing here is that you will really get a sense of the history of Portugal and of the pride that the Portuguese people take in the great figures of their national story. This is a wonderful attraction. Take out your from the moment you catch a glimpse of it. When you climb on the roof of it there are views you can also shoot. Very good photographic experience!

We only spent about 15 minutes walking around the Pantheon because it feels cold and uninteresting-- we love climbing up to see the tops of old buildings, but we skipped this because we had already seen the top of the city from great vantage points (i.e. top of St. George's Castle). Also, the dome was just added in the 1960s!...

I wasn't supposed to pass through there..I was just walking through Alafama and I discovered this wonderful architectural piece.
There's also a beautiful green area around it!
P.S.: The place looks much better than the picture show!
