Nice view of the river on one side and the brightly colored ministry building on the other. There was a lot of construction going on when I visited, which did spoil the views somewhat, but construction must get done. This is also a jumping-off point for lots of tour buses, so expect quite a few to roll by. There were... More

Praça do Comercio is known as the "welcoming square" of the city. Although that applied to the times people used to get Lisboa by the river Tagus, it keeps on being a magnificient  square, one of the biggest in Europe (180m x 200m) More

This place for sure is small, but the architecture, the small surrroundings & the neat places nearby surely deserves a small walk in the area. To all the places i've been in lisbon, i think this place has its own stamp, a "Lisboa Stamp". We really enjoyed to walk around, so do not miss it! More

That is one of the best places in Lisbon without any hesitation. There is a great square and a lot of monuments and architecture. Highly recommend it! More

Praça Do Comércio is a lovely square, although there's really not much to it. A large statue in the middle, a cafe or two in one corner and a lot of open space. It's a nice place to stretch your legs and breath in the salty sea air. At night, tiny floor lights are illuminated which give the whole square... More

Apparently it's known as a dealing area but a pleasant location all the same. You can be waiting quite a while to get across the road to the steps down to the river. More

Praça do Comercio is a monumental place. This is where the old royal palace used to be before the big earthquake that destroyed Lisbon. This square is the perfect setting for arriving to Lisbon, as it must have been great to step off a ship into this great square. We strolled through the square, and then sat on the small... More

It's a really imponent place in the historic Lisbon , From the south side of the Tagus river you can see at night this open and lighted place. The correct name is Praça do Comércio More
