No trip to Lisbon is complete without a long stroll along the Taugus River. Follow Baixa down to the waterfront and stroll along the seemingly never ending sidewalk that lines the shore. You can follow this path all the way to the Vasco da Gama bridge and Belém Tower. highly recommended. More

A very dissapointing trip; I doubt that there were even 10 announcements giving information about what we were seeing, during the whole trip. Perhaps there was nothing of interest? What was said, was indistinct. Not a particularly beautiful view either. More

Full of activity. The people fishing, the boats cruising and magnificent sights of its two bridges. More

Although I loved the activity along the river, the river itself is not one of my favorites. There are a lot of rocks/gravel along the way so it's not as scenic as many but still, you must visit because it's part of everyday Lisbon life, a very social area. More

Tejo is one os the best thing to see in Lisbon. (I`d say, 2d best thig after ocean). It can be seen practically from all the parts of Lisbon and the views are always fantastic! Photos say better then words! My favourite view is from Cristo Rei statue, don`t miss to see these fantastic landscape yourself! More

We did a Tejo river cruise while we where in Lisbon, and it's definitely worthwhile. You get to see Lisbon from the river and it gives you a whole different perspective. There are daily tours that leave from the ferry station at Terreiro do Paço, it's 20€ if I remember correctly, and it lasts for 2.5 h. The cruise first... More

If you get a chance its worth doing a trip across the Tagus, from Cais Do Sodre. It only costs a few Euros, and you get great views across Lisbon, you might even spot a jellyfish in the water. On the other side in Cacilhas there are some nice reasonably priced seafood restaurants, but otherwise a bit of a ghost... More
