If you want a place to shop to you and friends do like me and go to Clmb. The best place in town! And you may also have a meal and go to a movie.
It was huge!!! Wide varieties of shops to choose from for sure! But, guess what? It's open every day from 09.00 - 00.00. And yes, until Midnight! So shoppers, you have plenty of time ;)
I usually do not visit shopping malls while on vacation. I made an exception this time with good reason. Firstly I was curious how does late night shopping look like - Colombo is open until midnight. Please note the location on tripadvisor is not correct, very easy to go there by blue metro. I felt safe while shopping, stores are just common stores and brands you find everywhere. The top floor with the different food places is nice, but not fabulous. For a rainy day.
I have been twice in Lisbon ans both times went there. Open till very late, fantastic environment, with guides everywhere, restaurants shops etc. Nice, I enjoyed it, can't have been bigger!!
After walking the Lisbon hills for days, it was a nice change to walk on flat ground in air conditioned comfort. Getting out by train is easy, €1.40 e/w, & the Mall is right at the station. All the normal shops in most of Europe plus some local ones. I was able to buy all my gifts & things for... More
Transport to centre is great, metro is top class in Lisbon on time every time. Choice of shops were excellent but a lot were pricey designer shops, but still worth a look. Food court was great with food for all nationalities.:)
If you like shopping and are fed up with all the Lisbon hills, get on the linha azul (blue line) to militar/luz and follow the signs for Colombo. Very easy to get to and find, just 10 quick stops from restauradores. There's so many shops its very easy to wander round for ages and they have one of the biggest... More

Most of them are "not my cup of tea" since I like more slow food, but we found a nice place to enjoy excellent grilled seafood, charcoal... More
