When heading towards Jardim de Estrela, get off one stop before the gardens and walk uphill. Just after the stop there is a pastry shop (Pasteleria Estrela) immediately after the tram stop. Great espresso and custard tart for only €1.30! More

My hubby and i loved tram 28, lots of stops so easy to get to, takes you up and down the narrow winding streets of different areas. Has a real vintage feel to it, we kept meaning to get off and walk but we couldnt bring ourselves to jump off before the end of the ride ! More
