Like other reviewer said, you'll feel like "a child in wonderland". Saying that the garden is only trees and another plants it's the most unfair thing to say. The garden has a lot of caves and two amazing towers that are inverted. They grow to the inside! more

In Quinta da Regaleira, there are lots of different trees and other plants. It is a garden with quite a couple different attractions in it, for instance, a castle, a tower where you could see almost the whole town of Sintra from, they also have a small restaurant (seats are only outside), when a meal is needed. more

Quinta da Regaleira is a breathtaking place to visit. Palacio is beautiful but looks much better from outside than inside, the garden is another story. There is a great collection of turrets, gardens, wells, towers, statues, mysterious grottoes, ponds, providing breathtaking views. Garden is full of exotic plants and flowers that need to be discovered along an assortment of pathways.... more

This was my husbands favourite place in our trip to Europe and my 2nd/3rd favourite. The other two favourite are also in Sintra - what an amazing place! All we knew about Quinta da Regaleira was a comment by a tourist to take a torch - they didn't explain why but we wished we had! The garden is absolutely amazing... more

This place wasn't even mentioned in my guide book, but it was really marvelous! The grounds were lush and bursting with color. Everywhere you looked there was something else tucked away. The wells and tunnels were fascinating. You got the feeling you could spend days there and not discover it all. We had gone with a group that had arranged... more

We didn't know anything about this site and did not get information on it while visiting. No tourist information in English!! It was fascinating non the less and the highlight of our trip. It is definitely worth a visit as it transforms you into another time and place. Very eerie and intriguing. more
