We decided to visit Cabo da Roca because of the reviews here, and because of the indescribable feeling of seeing the raw atlantic ocean at "the end of the world" or at least the end of western Europe. We drove there, a beauiful 50 min drive from Sintra, and could easily find a parking spot. The view was amazing, and... More

We took a taxi and paid 65 euro for the round trip. It was a 40 min trip to the Roca. Very beautiful and calm place. Air is so fresh and indescribable. If you visit Lisbon you must go to the Cabo da Roca. More

We took the 403 bus from Sintra aiming to come off at the Cabo da Roca but it was cold wet and windy and the next bus was 80 minutes later so we went on to Cascais. More

Not too much to see there however you can take pretty nice pictures there and leave with the feeling that you are at the westernmost point of Europe, however for me looked like the end of the world... More

Other than being the western-most spot, this place has little to recommend it. More

Thankfully there isn't much here, just a cafe, shop and great scenery! I'd have been disappointed if there was more here. I caught the 403 bus from Sintra and arrived just before sunset - an amazing sight! (although it is an hour between buses, so there can be a bit of a wait. Be aware the wind can get up... More

We took the 403 bus from the main bus station in Sintra and rode though some lovely villages and vistas before we got to the Atlantic coast. What a thrill it was to be on the very edge of the mainland! Many visitors came by car, but the bus from Sintra (from Cascais, too) was practical enough. There is resto... More
