Enjoyed out trip to Porto Santo - off season so most shops shut, spent several hours walking the beach and eating in the local hotel cafe on the beach. If i ever return would do more research and get something organized whilst on island. It didnt strike as a place that I would like to spend a whole week

we availed of the ferry companys offer of a return trip including one night in a 3 star hotel for 67euro each and we thoroughly enjoyed 2 days on the beach, would recommend this trip to anyone spending 2 weeks in madeira

Thoroughly enjoyable trip with Thomsons whose local guide/minibus driver was brilliant. The ferry was a cut above normal ferries and as a day out was well worth the money.
