Palheiro is a nice course but the lack of sand in the bunkers and the condition of the course is generally poor. Wonderful golf course, extremely challening, but well worth the effort. Staff very helpful and the view from the club house for a after game drink or meal is a spectular view of funchal bay. Worth the visit for the setting even if you don't play golf. More
