As the name suggests this isnt really a 'serious' museum but rather a 'child friendly' walk around a series of pictures, interactive guides and figurines outlining Madeira's history. All essentially on 1 floor of a 3 story building. OK but pricey! More

We complained about slums and overcrowding in the UK, but this shows it as it really was in Madeira. An excellent overview as to how the origianal Madeirans really lived.
