If you ever wondered how nobility lived in Portugal some centuries ago, than take a look in this palace. Especially the gardens are very nice. Some parts are still being renovated, nevertheless the rooms that are already finished are worth visiting.

This is a beautifully preserved mansion and gardens hidden behind high walls in the centre of Braga. If you don't speak Portuguese, you only have an English leaflet to explain each of the rooms which are all furnished with original period furniture. We speak some Portuguese and found that the guide had some very interesting insights and comments of his...

You can visit the home and gardens of a Portuguese noble family of the region. The place is well preserved and entrance includes usually someone to guide you around and explain stuff (usually they don't speak English but they can give you some explanations in written format).
The palace house is nice and still has furniture of the time period......
