We bought a two day ticket for Yellowbus tours for 19 euro each from the owner of the guesthouse where we stayed. This entitled us to trips on all three open top bus routes (the historical tour is best), the hour long Duoro river cruise, the tour of the Calem port wine warehouse and unlimited travel on public transport within... You won't learn much history from their tour but the orange line (1 of 3) is worth the price of the ticket itself. You see all the major sights and can get yourself oriented to the city. I would do this day 1 if comming to Porto for the first time. Sit through a full route on the orange line... More

We used the three day passes (€15) which covers all the routes and gives you sue of the public buses too. the longest tour (castles takes 1 hour 40 minutes and the shortest (bridges) takes about an hour. The hop on and off facility works really well as there are "cross over points" on the three routes so your can... More

We only did the Bridges and Historic City tours and we ran out of time to fit in the Castles tour. Stops at all important sites and drivers slow down to allow time to get good photos from top deck. More

Ticket for 13e each for 2 days hop on/off. Lovely sunny weather so it was good to sit on open top deck. Think they have made 3 tours out of 1 really...but at least there's buses along all the time. We did the historic tour completely then walked to places we realised were so close. Next day we did the... More

We only had three days in Porto, so making most of our time was really an assett. In any case, we decided to reserve through our concierge at the hotel Intercontinental Palacio Das Cardosas, who were very kind and helpful, two tickets for the historical tour. We got in the bus just in front of the hotel, so that was... More
