Zigzagging between past, present and potential futures, we try to give an insight into our hometown that will enable you to understand and enjoy it evermore. Our visits are simple and friendly : we try to limit our tours to 10 people maximum, so you can get to sightsee without the crowd, we also like to have a small break (Porto's hilly), to chill out and chat, no rush we're in Portugal. Our tours are solely based on tips, leaving the guests the freedom to value the service themselves and give accordingly.Average tour duration : 2h or 3hTime : Everyday (on reservation) 11 amRESERVATION NECESSARY EMAIL. « less

In addition to all other reviewers mentioned (except the negative reviews clearly written by the competitors), I can say that I too thoroughly enjoyed this experience. I'd call this an "un-tour" because you get to visit mostly un-touristic spots and you get to interact with a person who wil tell you things that you would not normally hear from a... More

If you're looking to dig deep into Porto's plebeian past, this is the tour to take. It's intimate and the guides are friendly and passionate about not only showing off their city, but exploring its history and future with a critical eye. I was really impressed with the small group size and hidden routes throughout the city, all accompanied by... More

A really great tour to get to know some hidden places, facts and history about Oporto. From the first moment you get in touch with your guide you are involved in a very friendly and intimate relation with her. More than just flushing facts and stories on you about the places you visit, Inês actually gets interested in the people... More

Forget about the "Lonely Planet", "Marco Polo" "Dumont" and all the other guidebooks, lots of money wasted, if you really want to see the real Porto, with all its beauty, hidden parks and interessting places, just do the Porto Free-Tour. The guides picked us up directly at our hostel (Oporto Invictus Hostel-a great one!!), very very friendly young people. During... More

If you want to see the real and authentic side of Porto then choosing the Porto free Tour is definitely the right decision. Pascal and Ruben showed us what it is like to life in Porto, not just visiting it and its most touristic places, but locations that are hidden, special and might not even be known by Porto-People. It... More

There is definitely something to be said for taking the traditional tours--the ones filled with herds of tourists, their cameras, and fact after fact that you're not likely to remember once you upload the pictures on to facebook. This, however, is not that tour. That's exactly its charm. This tour is for those who want to discover a different side... More

Our guide was Ines who very kindly picked us up from our hotel. It was our first afternoon and an excellent way to get our bearings. Ines spoke very good English and showed us a number of sights that we would not have found on our own. Go on - try them you won't be disappointed. More

The tour guide was exceptional, her name is Pascale Wright and she showed us very beautiful spots with wonderful view, many little gardens, charming historical quarters and places so typical for Portugal and the city itself. The warm weather of Porto combined with the gentle and great knowledge of the guide made our day memorable. More

My first though it was that, if there are people who they do this kind of tour for free, then they have to love it . And indeed, Pascal , the beautiful girl that gave us the tour and I can imagine that the whole team is like that, she gave us a strong taste of the city ,with precious... More
