We visited this park last week, and whilst we found the museum had an interesting films by a famous Portuguese director, maybe this would not be of interest to all. We were disappointed that the art deco house was closed, but viewed the beautiful gardens. We were also disappointed that the cateteria in the gardens only opens in summer. This... more

Museu de Serralves is an amazing contemporary art museum, the most visited Museum in Portugal. The building was designed by Alvaro Siza, one of the most important european architects of the 20th century. It is surrounded by a 18 ha Park that also has an Art deco villa, built in 1930-40. The Museu de Serralves is located 10 m from the historical centre and major hotels, in a beautiful Park which also includes a lovely Art Deco Villa. The exhibitions were just amazing and I had a wonderful time at the Tea House, in the middle of the Park , by Tennis the Court. Just order a Chocolate cake and Tea... more

Fabulous gallery set in a beautiful park. The building is worth a visit irrespective of the exhibitions. Also the buffet in the restaurant is very good! more
