We spent a short two nights in Porto, Portugal, however they were both finished with a visit to the Solar so Vinho do Porto. The selection can't be matched anywhere in Porto, and the prices are retail instead of marked up like you'll find in a restaurant. You aren't going to be served a full meal, but a little bit... more

Solar do Vinho do Porto is the best place you'll find to taste the real Port Wine. In a very quiet and confortable place, with river views, very nice music, very friendly and educated staff. You can taste just a glass of wine, or you can buy bottles. There's books on Port Wine history and comments of each wine so... more
