Acropolis is not easy to describe with words. You have to be there to feel it. Marvellous piece of work ! Symmetrical, balanced, pieceful yet imposing. Totally astonishing! More

Bring some water and some walking shoes. The marble steps around the Acropolis were quite slick in the sunshine, so try to avoid climbing in any kind of rain. The structures and views all the way up make the climb well worth it. More

Well preserved monument. We went in by the bus tour and toured round the Acropolis. Felt the need for a guide. More

Arrive as soon as possible! There are fewer visitors and the heat is less oppressive. If possible, take a guide, or read about the history of the monuments. My two teenagers have been dazzled by the splendor of the monuments More

You must climb the Acropolis on a visit to Athens. The only drawback is the lack of accessibility for mobility-impaired. This truly one of the wonders of the world. More

we went to the Acropolis first and the museum second. it might be better to do it the other way around, but going earlier in the day is much better than later as the crowds really flood in. More
