If you like modure art then this museum is for you. We saw a dislay of a cloak room; shoes; sunglasses on the floor. The building the art was in is exptional. They did have some old stuff also, but the modern art really affected me.

We really enjoyed this place - more so that the National Archaeological Museum. It had been recommended by some Greek friends of ours, and we were not disappointed. We're in Athens at least once a year, and visit every time. Need we say more? The fourth floor was recently re-done, and that made it even better. One of the best museum shops in Athens. Don't miss the restaurant!

In this museum, the great wonders of cycladic culture are on the worst displayed floor. Other floors have more relevant easier to follow exhibitions. Fascinating collection - we spent hours looking around and sometimes had whole rooms to ourselves - not crowded at all. The only downer was the staff were really unfriendly! But definitely worth a trip, and the day we went it was half price too.
