If money is not a problem, this is one of the areas to be (another is Glyfada). And the central square is the place to see and to be seen. Nice shops and completely different from the nearby Plaka.

this area used to be a very classy and full high society. is is not anymore. I dont think there is any interest in that area. I found the shops too expensive for no reason

Kolonaki is a small area just off the center of Athens. This is where you will find the " beautiful people" shopping in the many designer shops or sitting in one of the many coffee shops,
There is something for everyone in this part of Athens, from trendy bars and restaurants, to local tavernas.
