This is one of the fabulous cluster of museums located in the heart of Athens on Vasilissis Sofias. Very easy to get there either by the Athens City Sightseeing bus or the metro. Often overshadowed by the stunning classical Greek culture, there aren't many museums in Greece that boast such a large and exclusive collection of early Christian and Byzantine... more

byzantine museum of athens is one of the best hotels i have been.it has treasures from a dissapeared empire.the byzantine empire or in an other word the hellenic-christian empire.you can see a whole church in this building and orthodox christian treasures made by cold and silver.the building is great too.it has the type of a italian toschane villa with great... more
