Well worth a brief visit, if only to walk around the wonderful Tower of the Winds, a waterclock at its far end. The tower and its sculptures of Roman date greatly impressed architects who visited Athens and others in the 18th century. The Romn Agora is peaceful, even in the ummer, nd little visited. You couldn't possibly spend more than 10 minutes here. Even with our free tickets we didn't bother entering the Roman Agora and I just viewed it from outside the metal fence. As the title says, there's not much left to this site, a bunch of columns and part of the foundation. There are a few smaller buildings towards the back and an entrance. It was pretty empty though and relaxing place to stop. Tickets are included in the Acropolis ticket package.
