our walk through the Acropolis was brought to life by an enthusiastic Greek lady who spoke very good English. Good tour!! a lot of walking but if you're up for it, it's nice to be outside. Knowledgeable tour guides, good pace, appropriate attractions. It's great to get the low down on the story behind the acropolis rather than just taking a look. more

We enjoyed this 3hr walk very much as it took us through the Plaka District, a must-do in Athens. Recommended. Perhaps a little too much time spent in Syntagma Sq museum where it was hard to hear commentary due to trains. Bring your camera and comfortable walking shoes. more

After reading all the great reviews, we were totally disappointed . We wasted 30 minutes in a train station so that Despina could show us the changing of the guard which we could have seen on our own. The balance of the tour was walking to the acropolis with virtually nothing to see onroute, and a boring talk at acropolis.... more

I went on the walking tour of Athens expecting great things after reading the reviews on here... BOY WAS I WRONG!!! The tour is 3 hours long for a start, which i wouldn't of minded if i would have seen any major attractions in that time, but basically it takes 3 hours to walk from Syntagma Station to the Acropolis... more
