A very noisy street, found it difficult to stay asleep. A room at the back of the hostel may have been better.

Before 90's Athinas Str was an interesting greek lumpen street, with lots of venders, hucksters, little shops, porno-cinemas, old cafes (cafeneia) and souvlaki. I would recommend to go on the top of Filipappos Hill (JUST REMEMBER YOUR WAY DOWN OR HOLD ON TO SOME ATHENIAN ON THE HILL) The view from the top of the hill, Pynx is mind blowing.
