The museum houses most of the finds from the site and provides good context for the history and processes that occurred here. We visited this on the night before visiting the site as your ticket covers both areas and could be split this way. The train/bus was running to the site but not often enough and we ended up walking... More

The tour was run by Key Tours, Athens, and our guide was Marianna. Guides have unniversity degrees and 3 years of training to become licenced. Our guide was caring, interesting and extremely knowledgeable. She made us all feel very welcome and was typical of the kindness and generosity of the Greek people we met. Her involvement allowed us to gain... More

Artifacts found on the Delphi site, many in remarkable condition and others that are heartbreakingly incomplete. I loved the silver and gold bull - never saw anything like it. More

The museum, next to the site, is informative and has an excellent selection of artifacts. Definitely worth a visit. One other reviewer commented that visiting the museum first is advisable - I have to say that having visited it after the site, I agree with that assessment. More

The museum is not huge but it is interesting. It has some wonderful reconstructions of how Delphi would have looked in Ancient times (a painting and a model) which really give a better understanding of the site and how heavily adorned it would have been. I would recommend visiting the musuem first to get a better appreciation for the site. More

It was instructive but not a big deal. You could not take pictures with the statues and anything inside the museum. More

This is a 'must-see' in conjunction with the archaeological site as it gives a sense of how richly endowed the site was in ancient times. The overview labels were good, but the labels on individual items were less informative than in other museums I've visited. More

Some of the pieces in this museum are just amazing, reflective of times gone past and very, very old. Try and get a guide that does both the museum and the ruins! Well worth the investment. More

The collection was very nice and well-presented. It definitely helped bring the ruins to life in my mind. More
