Took the 3 hour trip into the hills tovillage of Seles. Surprisingly enjoyable with excellent views of Mirabello Bay and Spinalonga from above without the hassle of hiring a car. There is also a 1 hour trip to Plakas available though this wouldn't be as scenic. More

A road train took us the 5km from Elounda town to Plaka and back again. You wonder why it is called the Happy Train until you meet George the driver who waves and greets everyone with a happy smile and everyone you pass waves back. Great fun. More
