During our visit in the Natural History Museum of Crete we saw a great collection of samples of flora and fauna. The exhibition ''Dinosaurs of Patagonia'' was also amazing and the earthquake simulator was an unforgettable experience! Don't miss it!!!

First of all the window stills with animals' exhibits do not have glass, so you can have a real close look. The dino movie is a bit long and more suitable for elder kids, but the earthquake simulator is fun for children.

Very good job!!! Especially with the dinosaurs exhibition!!! I like the building as well!!! It used to be an old factory, I think for electricity!!! I'm impressed!!!!

Wonderful panoramas of the flora & fauna of different parts of the island. Very well done. I cam away with a much greater appreciation of the natural context of the island.

There was a temporary dinosaur exhibition which was very informative and interesting, but other than that I wasn't very impressed by the museum. I've been to much nicer ones of this kind. The earthquake simulator wasn't that fantastic, and the museum is a bit overpriced. Also much smaller than expected.
