A must if you are on Naxos, this beach is lovely and the sea is crystal clear, a lot quieter than the town beach. It's very accessable by bus which runs every hour all day until quite late.

This is a long beautiful unspoiled beach. The sand is fine and the water is warm, easily accessible by bus.

We went on a Saturday, and Plaka beach was virtually empty. The first road down to it from Chora is difficult; the approach from Mikri Vigla is easier.
The only naked people were middle-aged Scandinavians.
The end close to Vigla has better sand in the water, while the other end is a little rocky.

This beach have it all. Nudists in one end, tavernas, camping, hotels, sunbeds in the middle, and undeveloped and "wild" further ahead. Clear water and nice sand.
