I came here expecting to see artifacts but all we got was a bunch of rubble. Unless you come with a guide, the explanations that are around the site were not very helpful at all and you might as well visit any modern site as it looks about the site. Don't waste your money here. More

A must see, even if you don't have an imagination. The site had just reopened when I visited, so it still needs some work and signage. Go to the Prehstoric Museum of Thira first, and the rocks and rooms will make more sense. It is civilization before your eyes from 1600bc....amazing really. More
