My wife and I travelled to Aghios Gordios in June 2009. The village consists of small and friendly accommodation scattered throughout the village. If you type in Aghios Gordios on Google you will find a website that gives you a 360degree virtual tour of the village which I found really helpful. The first few days on the beach was a... more

I have just returned from a 7 night holiday and it was fantastic. I travelled with my wife and 8 year old daughter. We wanted somewhere quiet where we could relax and spend time together as a family and we certainly got it. We stayed self catering in Villa Mary apartments. The apartments were exactly as we expected from reading... more

We stayed in Agios Gordios as a family of 6 (grandparents, parents, 14-year-old hormonal teenager and 8 year old aspiring actress). Our cottage with Sunvil Holidays was absolutely lovely, incredibly quiet, and set in a beautiful orchard of lemon, pomegranate, mandarin and vines. Unfortunately the beach and surrounds DID NOT match up to the cottage; the beach was heaving with... more

We went to Agios Gordios for two weeks at the beginning of June. Everyone was helpful and friendly. We had good food everywhere especially Sebastians, the mexican and for real homemade fresh food try Elenas on the beach ( Just before the hotel). Elenas food was super, especially for such a small restaurant. There are some good places to have... more

We visited in June and found the resort of Aghios Gordis more built up and busy than we'd hoped. However our cottage, which we'd booked through Sunvil, was lovely. Small and basic but with plenty of outdoor space, surrounded by fruit trees and fields yet close to shops and restaurants. Sunvil have a number of properties in this resort and... more

Came here in August for a week. There are areas of the hotel which could do with updating, but on the whole, it was a great place. We had an excellent room, the bed was huge, more like a superking than a double! The room was perfectly located facing out to the sea and totally private, and it was lovely... more

How this place can be called a "village" by holidaymakers is beyond me - its a one road place & that road consists of minimarkets & souvenir tat shops! Corfu seems to have been ruined by tourism - not somewhere to go if you want a taste of traditional Greece - much of it is like a Greek Blackpool -... more

We have just come back from a wonderful holiday in Agios Gordis on Corfu island. We stayed at Stevens on the Hill - a good apartment-hotel. Nice staf that are very serviceminded. The village is small - but it's enough. Not too many shops - just a very relaxing enviroment.A beautiful beach, clear water - good diving waters. During our... more
