The resort is really, really beautiful - blue lagoons, private beaches, stunning mountains... Among the best things to visit - the beautiful monastery on the top of the hills - a hidden path leads you to a beautiful viewpoint with benches where you can observe the sunset or enjoy the blue horizon. The central beach was covered with pebbles and... More

We were staying in Mare Blue on North Coast and wanted just one short trip out and chose this. Beautiful location, fairly quiet in late May when we went, visited the Monastery on the hill - several tour coaches arrived after we went - so it will get crowded very quickly as it is very small - but a must... Wow what a place, definately worth a boat trip into the caves, didnt get chance to take a ride on the Yellow Submarine though! It's easy to see why the area was used for some of the scenes from the Bond movie 'For your Eyes Only' Place is right out of paradise. More

I stayed at marias studios, I had a room facing the little courtyard just opposite to the family home, I was holidaying alone so I payed a little extra for sole occupant, the room was clean, light and airy, two singles beds, a... Onto the 13th Century Monastry (beautiful) then time in the harbour for a trip on a water taxi in and out of caves great ride which takes approx 40 mins with knowledgable captain lol (brilliant) Then up to the... We arrived mid-May, the weather was atrocious at first, thunderstorms and the hardest rain I've ever seen..it did create a fantastic atmosphere though with the lightning lighting up the bay intermittently through the jet black sky. We had two days of poor weather, then things brightened up, with sunny spells breaking through the cloud giving a nice, comfortable temperature. The... More

Paleo is a lovely wee town with a gorgeous beach and view after a short drive (long walk) to the top viewpoint after the traffic lights. We always drive to Paleo when we go back home, never get fed up of the views. More
