We hired a Vespa and toured the island. Viewed the shipwreck from the viewing platform that's free of charge. Got motion sickness from trying to view from the sea and it was too choppy for us to disembark. More

put on your walking shoes and try to shoot some photo's from over the edge. Be careful when you do.. you don't want to fall down because you simply wont survive. More

Good day out. Not much shade, so make sure you wear sun cream. If you have young children you dont really want to stay too long. The beach is shallow one minute and deep the next. After the in itial excitment of seein the shipwreck the kids then became board as they couldnt go in the water. With no breezae... More

Flagship photo to advertise the island but is disappointing in reality. Old shipwreck is covered in graffiti and football club slogans. Beach only ok and IATA midday is stifling with no shade. Can get crowded in midsummer. More

we travelled by car to see Navagio Beach (shipwreck cove) from the viewing platform. We were not disappointed. It was stunning. I have some lovely photographs of the beach to treasure with my memories. It was just beautiful. More

Worth visiting, especially if you're going to the blue caves anyways, as you can do it as part of the same ship tour. Quite impressive, and the beach itself is quite interesting, a small cove away from anywhere else. Especially recommended if you are a photography enthusiast, lots of great shots here and on the way. just remember that there's... More

We absolutely loved this trip. We stayed in kalamaki and did a day trip on a pleasure cruise. The beach was stunning with a stop off for an hour for swimming and sunbathing. The trip also included a speedboat ride into the caves which were amazing. The only downside was that it was a long trip so take a cardi... More

I was very lucky to visit this beach with Jackie of Nefis Travel so had a great deal of history and stories provided about the boat and its location. It really made it all come alive. Also as it was before the main season started we had the beach to ourselves. I gather it can get packed with boats and... More
