These ruins have been excavated and you can walk around much of what has been unearthed. Some restoration has been undertaken in order to give a feel for what it was like when it was intact. Well worth a wander around if you're in the city. More

Right in the city center the ruins of the greek and roman "agora" are seen and admired by everyone. You can't miss it! More

The ancient center of the city, if u r lucky u can see the internal museum. U surely need to have a person to explain the history and significance of the monuments More

Step back in time and stroll through the ruins. Interesting to see. Added bonus was that they are free! More

It is difficult to imagine that all of this was under the modern day city street. It has become almost impossible for the city to do any construction digging without another marvelous find such as this. More

Millions have been spent on the site, yet it is closed after 3 P.M. What could be a center of early evening activity is now isolated. More
