It is really the "diamond" of Olympia. Some people still say that it is not the work of Praxiteles. Who ever created it, was a great sculptor. More

This is one of the great works of the 4th century BC. There is some controversy as to whether it is a Greek original or a Roman copy (I think it is original). More

This single statue found at Olympia is worth the trip to Greece. It is largely intact and beautifully sculpted. Check it out in the Archaeological Museum at the site. More

What can I say? this statue is an icon of Greek beauty and of the beauty of Greek sculpture, graceful and light and unforgettable. I still prefer cycladic art! More
