location was spectacular. Alot of history to see inside the monastery. It was like going to a museum. More

this is the biggest and very well preserved. the ossary is a bit creepy. museums are a tad dull and much is lost if you don't speak greek. the refectory has a very good series of portraits of the great and good of greece so at least you can find out where many street names come from. More
