Aalborg ZOO is near the Aalborgtarnet. There are many animals, and you can even bring your own food and sit on the grass and eat or grill. There is a savanna, which we liked. More

Aalborg Zoo is remarkably enjoyable in the warmer months, when the animals are outside. Many of the animals have much nicer habitats, at least when it is warm, than found in other European zoos. Some are still really wanting, for example, the big cats. More

Aalborg Zoo has been renovating alot in later years (a process which is still continuing) and it shows. It is a beautifull place and as a local from Aalborg this would probably be my no. 1 recommendation for visitors. The only negative thing is the entrance fees which are fairly high if you haven't bought a season pass. More

You just come back time after time. Every time we are back in Denmark, we have at least one day at the zoo. Love to see the animals being fed and there are nice places to have a picnic or you can go to the cafees for lunch. And best of all, it seems like the animals are takıen well... More
