Very, very tacky! Only went in because it was free on our Copenhagen card. Definitely not worth paying for.

The Hans Christian Anderson part of this was passable in a plastic Disney kind of way, although the English was riddled with mistakes. However the "Believe it or not Ripley Collection next door was just ghastly. They pressure you into buying a ticket when you arrive. As if the shrunken heads, bearded ladies and tallest man freak show wasn't enough...

We purchased the Copenhagen Card and this was one of the free attractions. The tour was very disappointing and I would recommend that you skip. It is a self guided tour and you are suppose to be able to listen to a couple of fairy tales. Two of the four fairy tale stories did not work. This tour is really...

I decided to take my son to this attraction as he had read a number of H C Andersen books in his primary school. The layout of the museum is ok; we listened to some of his stories (with some extracts under each display and around) and also read about the author's life. However my son found it very boring...
