We visited Tivoli on our last full day in Copenhagen. It was during the middle of the week, so it wasn’t too crowded, even in July. My 6 year old loved it. There are height restrictions, so he couldn’t go on every ride but he did go on enough of them. My younger (4 yr old) preferred just to wander... more
And make sure you bought the city card. If you plan to ride the rides then buy the multi-ride pass. It was all decked out for Halloween and PACKED with locals at night. We went after 8pm each night and it was great. There were a few crazy rides, and I doubt the safety features of the rides would pass... more
Tivoli Gardens visit is a day well spent enjoying the plants, art, attractions and people. We had a fun day taking many photos to remember. more
I had read the reviews before going a recent cruise. They were mixed and so was I. I knew it would not be like Disney but it was not that enchanting It seems to be a "must see" if you are in Copenhagen but once is enough for me more
Surprised at admission price. Surprised at age and drabness. Surprised it was more like Coney Island than Central Park. more
We went here at night-time and only paid for the admission to walk around. The rides are kind of dinky, nostalgic (I can see where Disney got his inspiration!) but more for little kids. If you don't want to do rides, definitely still go just to see all the beautiful fountains, twinkly lights, and listen to music!! more
This theme park is amazing, lines move quick and the price is right! The rides are long and worth waiting if there is a wait, but ride the swings. more
We visited Tivoli mainly because we had read that the gardens were lovely. The entry fee was reasonable but the rides were extra and expensive so we did not try them. There were a few shops and many places to eat. It is somewhere worth seeing and we were in there a couple of hours but personally I'd say there... more
We have two kids so stopping at Tivoli was a must. It is small enough to not be overwhelming yet has enough to do for more than a few hours. I suppose it can be considered expensive but when compared to theme parks in the states, it is not so bad. You can buy an unlimited band if you want... more
We went in the evening and the twinkling lights were just breathtaking. My college kids loved the swing ride which you can see from outside. The flowers are very nice too. Just a real fun place like an old fashioned fair with a hint of disney. Nice to see all the locals enjoying it too. more
