Especially enjoyed the visit having read Rose Tremain's novel about Christian IV, "Music and "Silence". Lots of wonderful treasures.

Fascinating. Our guide was excellent in choosing the most interesting artifacts for our very brief visit. The treasury was stunning though I have nothing to compare it with! The gardens beautiful too on the lovely spring day that we visited. Be aware that large bags aren't permitted though there are lockers to put them in and if you want to...

A real treasure, one of my favorite castles. A top site definitely.

Visit to this castle gives you some insight into King Christian IV and his life. The castle is easy to get to and we enjoyed its "doable" size.

The castle is beautiful surrounded by the King's Garden. The rooms and treasury were great to visit. The castle is right in the city centre and is worth a visit on a sunny day. The scenery around is refreshing.

A great castle which used to belong to the Royal Family. Don't miss a walk at its garden!

Purchase a Copenhagen Card when in Denmark. This was a facinanting Castle/museum. You will see the crown jewels as well. There is an extra fee if you wish to photo them.
