THE MUSEUM: the spectacular architecture of this museum already makes the trip to Arken worth it. The ship-shaped building houses an interesting collection of contemporary art (both Danish and international), focusing on paintings and installations with a soft spot for Damien Hirst's paintings. Average museum of MODERN art located in Ishøj a small suburb to Copenhagen (about 30 min. from inner city) It's a okay museum, but I think you should only visit it if you are staying in CPH for many days, anyway. Or if you are very interested in very modern art or one of the special exhibition. In other words... more
