This was my 2nd favorite attraction in Copenhagen, followed by early morning siting of Little Mermaid. You get a decent work out walking up the stairs, and it's quite spectacular to climb the stairs outside. Incredible 360 degree views of Copenhagen. This is a must climb!!! more

This is a unique church with the curving wrap-around spire (for lack of a better term). Quite an attractive building. Unfortunately, when I was there (Sept 2007) the church was under repair so no one was allowed inside. more

The trip to the top of the spire is an interesting one. This spire stands out on the city landscape as the spiral stairs go around the outside of the spire. I spent 20 krone for the ascent to the top, starting off on resonable stairs which slowly became narrower and steeper. It is not a trip for the unfit.... more
