I saw some beautiful examples of Iznik and Turkish ceramics which brought back fine memories of my visit to Turkey. There were also a lovely variety of chandeliers that I noticed as I went from room to room on the lower levels. You will be surprised at the size of the collection as it seems you walk through room after... More

This is a most incredible collection of artefacts from a whole range of Arab civilisations and is highly educational. In addition there are exhibits from the Danish "Golden Age" and many interesting paintings. Everything is very well displayed and entrance is free. Well worth a visit. More

This place was a after-thought on our final morning, but wow, so glad we went. Easy to find, and staff most helpful with our baggage and coats. We went into the 3rd and 4th floor Islamic Art Exhibition, largest in Europe, and it was fantastic. We didn't bother with the other floors, as we were so impressed with what we'd... More

A never-ending labyrinth of Islamic art and artifacts (not even mentioning the manuscripts! due to time limitations, we had to skip over these). Beautiful and rich, this museum (free admission) is a gem. Take your time and learn something new. This is the place. More

The David collection is a fantastic museum. The collection of islamic art is something special but the rooms with Danish furniture and art is also worth visiting. I like that the museum is relatively small so that you have a chance to see everything. Admittance is free which is a plus - and you can come back several times to... More

It is probably the smallest museum in CPH. The collection is not impressive, but it is a well spend 2 hours. And it's for free! More
