The royal library in copenhagen is a building of extra ordinary design. Its black diamond like main building is built in union with the old original part of the royal library. When inside you are met with a small café and what is soon to be a large information desk (ready i february 2012). A little further into the library... More

The royal library is a nice place, but there aren't many things to see there. The structure is great and it is one of the iconic buildings of Copenhagen, and there are some interesting exhibitions and that's all! go there only if you are interested in architecture, but if you don't, it's a waist of time. Not just a good library, the "black diamond" has become a tourist attraction on its own. Located in a beautiful building by the seaside, the library offers free wifi, a restaurant and a café. Many of the books are stored in open access in the reading rooms, so you can work there even without a library card. More

The new addition fronts directly onto the Sydhavnen and must be seen to be... More
