We walked here to find out more about Danish design and see a bit about current design. In the end, it was smaller than expected and not really full of amazing pieces like I thought. There was a good sections with interactive displays that kept the children busy for a while. The weather was woeful, so it kept us interested... More

We found this place by accident while walking to Ny Carlsberg Glypotek (it is almost opposite) and enjoyed a few hours there. The mini exhibit near the entrance selling all sorts of things related to travel was great; not sure if this was temporary or not but as we are travelling it was of great interest to us. The concept... More

I am a big fan of mid-20th-century art and design - simple functionalism, clean lines, the German Bauhaus school, all of that - so there was no way I was visiting Copenhagen without stopping by the Danish Design Centre housed in a smart-looking building designed by local architect Henning Larsen. He's the one who designed the stunning Copenhagen Opera House... More

If you are into industrial design, this is a good place to go. I wouldn't say it is extremely good but still ok. Nice place to get gifts :-) More

Just next door to the Tivoli and very reasonable entrance fee. The exhibition on now was about the latest innovations in textiles and materials a real eyeopener. The permanent display downstairs was a lot of fun, I had no idea the Danes were responsible for designing so many household objects. More

The entrance fees are a bit steep, but I definitely enjoyed the visit and learned a bit. There was a special exhibit on recent Danish innovation on materials. I enjoyed the visit in good part due to this show. Based on other comments here, I wonder if some commenters had unfavorable experiences due to bad special exhibits. More

A great (if a little small) Danish design collection downstairs but when we visited there was an excellent design thinking exhibition upstairs which my wife and I found really interesting. More

This museum is well worth a visit if you're interested in Danish design. The museum is not very big so you can see all current exhibitions. The café is good as well and the gift shop has a nice collection of books, gifts etc More

The Danish Design Center has some really interesting contemporary exebitions. But don't miss the part in the basement: An exebition with danish design icons. More

This place is not worth paying the admission fee. Its a very small collection of some Danish household items in a basement. More
